I choked up while showing Kitten a photo of Boy today. I can’t believe it has been 9 months since he died. I miss him so much.

Mephala is a strange and rather interesting green organic human fascinated by handmade stuffed dolls, mythical space leviathans, and long calcified dinosaurs. She regularly fantasizes about floating above Jupiter watching the Great Red Spot spit out its eggs.
This blog chronicles her adventures on that thrilling roller coaster ride of life, attachment parenting two precocious cats (well, the cats have grown up) and 2 human children, 5 year old Wolf and 2 year old Kitten who, like their namesakes, keep her on her toes.

Thanks Shen. We’ve been well, just very caught up in the maelstrom of mommy-babyhood.
Kitten is crawling real fast and Wolf is reading on his own. They’re both keeping me on my toes and very exhausted after a long day with them. Hence the silence…
