Rike: My 2+ year old is still in her Ergo organic. It’s still holding up great after all this time. I’m happy I got it.

Jimmy: I find the Ergo organic cooler than the original Ergo actually, probably because the original is made of canvas which is thicker. The organic is incredibly soft, even when I first got it. We were all a lot hotter using the original and I imagine any other carrier made of polyester (plastic) or canvas would breathe less and be hotter.

Hi! I have a 8 -month-old boy and am about to buy my first ever baby carrier. The ergo looked fab, but then I found the patapum and thought it looked fab,too and was also cheaper. Reading this now I am not so sure about patapum and will probably go for ergo. It should be worth the investment as I’ll use it for quite long (I hope…). It is so nice to read this from someone who has truly used baby carriers for a while and knows the pitfalls! Thanks! Rike
