I recently got 2 Waldorf dolls for Kitten from the amazing dollmaker Mim of Chestnutdolls. Kitten loves playing with dolls and I had to get a baby doll with the mama doll.
Wonderful, wonderful workmanship. We love them so much!

Wolf had been rather enamoured by Tiny Kitty, the super cute tiny Tiddlywinks kitten who came into our lives just a week or two ago.
She is sweet and pink and just 6″ tall, with the sweetest face and a lovely smile. She is girliness epitomized in a cute stuffed kitty. (Wolf always chases the girl at the playground dressed in pink!)
Wolf speaks to her in the sweetest voice. He puts her pink blankie over her. He puts her pillow under her little head. His best friend Baby Liopleurodon is her best friend. Last night, I even overheard him tell Mama Kitty, “Your daughter is so pretty!”

Anyway, his best gift to Tiny Kitty was to reunite her with her Daddy, William, who had been with us for a while now.
As the story goes, William lost his baby mama Mama Kitty and Tiny as travelled together from the United States. Somehow the mother and daughter found their way home. Could there be a lost brother too? The plot thickens.
Here is a recent pic of the happy family:

These beautiful Tiddlywinks kitties arrived in the mail today.
My very first playset with a bag, blankie and pillow, 2 skirts and a pair of pants, and a beautiful kitty momma to keep her company on her journey from the US. What a lovely surprise!
I love love love these two!
PovertyJane Wool Longies and Shortie
Cloth Diapering, Favourite Etsy Things, Green Living 3 Comments »Kitten is on cloth by day but at night both kids are still on disposables. Previous night leaking was due to very full cloth diapers leaking from the waist and legs so I decided to get them longies which they can wear at night.
PovertyJane makes beautiful wool shorties and longies from upcycled wool sweaters. Upcycled clothes are the best for kids because any possible chemical residues have been washed off already.
Here are the lovely ones that arrived today.
I realised I never posted pics of my first Tiddlywinks dolls bought from yesteryear.
Here are the lovely ones I fell in love with. (Okay, okay, I’ll admit it, I bought them for myself but the kids play with them.)

Tyler – My very first Tiddlywinks doll. I fell in love with him with his sweet expression and gentle floppy ears. He waited patiently for me and then came to join our family.

Purry – Kitten’s very first Tiddlywinks doll. She loved her right away and Purry is still one of her favourite dolls today.

Cloudy – Wolf asked if I would buy him a Tiddlywinks cat too after seeing Purry, and he chose this sweet kitty.

I really needed to organize my bag and with 2 kids, my own stuff gets stuck right at the bottom and I waste minutes of my life every day digging through my bag for that nail cutter or wallet or wipes.
I’d been hunting for a backpack with lots of pockets when I realized the most cost effective and efficient item was really a purse organizer. Went through Etsy and found BABCIM the most reasonable and with the loveliest fabrics.
It arrived 12 days after ordering via First Class International Mail. Awesome!

Matches my Retro Flower Bratsack.

Fits all my stuff and even the children’s! Love it.

The sweet cloth dolls arrived today.
Interestingly Wolf chose the cat because she is “pretty and has a ribbon” and insisted I leave the skirt on. Kitten was happy hugging the sweet rabbit.
Wolf christened the rabbit Floppy (after suggestions like Clocky and Rabbitty – latter of which is already belongs to another cloth friend) and the cat Girly.

Celine from Bluecalla at Etsy finally restocked this beautiful backpack and this time I quickly snapped it up for Kitten. She loves carrying bags so this will be perfect for her.
Our lovely BitofWhimsyPrims doll bought on Etsy arrived on Thursday. She was beautifully sewn and very cuddly! Kitten adored her on sight. Wolf christened her Owly after an extensive review.

Mephala is a strange and rather interesting
